For the next two months our goal is to get the word out about the event and to look for major sponsors. If you are interested in helping with the plans, sponsoring , etc.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>What<\/strong> &#8211; <a class=\"external text\" title=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bar_camp\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bar_camp\">Barcamp<\/a> is an <a class=\"external text\" title=\"http:\/\/scripting.wordpress.com\/2006\/03\/05\/what-is-an-unconference\/\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/scripting.wordpress.com\/2006\/03\/05\/what-is-an-unconference\/\">un-conference<\/a> about learning, sharing, and participation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Who<\/strong> &#8211; Anyone interested in technology and creativity<\/li>\n<li><strong>Size<\/strong> We are expecting 5000+ participants (our location can accommodate 20,000+)<\/li>\n<li><strong>When<\/strong> &#8211; August 23-26 2007<\/li>\n<li><strong>Where<\/strong> &#8211; <a class=\"external text\" title=\"http:\/\/www.jeffersoncountyfairpark.com\/events\/2007\/August.htm\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jeffersoncountyfairpark.com\/events\/2007\/August.htm\">Jefferson County Fairgrounds<\/a>, Jefferson, Wisconsin, USA &#8211; about a 2 hour drive from Chicago&#8217;s O&#8217;Hare Airport.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Why<\/strong> &#8211; To gather with other individuals who are excited about technology. <a class=\"external text\" title=\"http:\/\/barcamp.org\" rel=\"nofollow\" href=\"http:\/\/barcamp.org\/\">Previous BarCamps<\/a> have started some cool projects.<\/li>\n<li><strong>lodging<\/strong> While many people will stay in area motels, tent camping will be available at the location.
