The top of each blimp is coated in polycrystalline solar cells which supply approximately 40% of the power needed by the servers and the on-board navigation, communication, and defense systems. <\/em><em>\u201cThe government will have absolutely no chance of acting against them, because they will be too busy trying to decide which Federal Air Regulation (FAR) was violated, not to mention scheduling news conferences. \u201c<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Google masters artificial intelligence in a <a href=\"http:\/\/googleblog.blogspot.com\/2009\/04\/cadie-awakens.html\">post<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.google.com\/intl\/en\/landing\/cadie\/index.html\">description<\/a> that\u2019s way too geeky for me.<\/p>\n<p>But they\u2019ve created the world\u2019s first Cognitive Autoheuristic Distributed-Intelligence Entity (CADIE), which is a computer that\u2019s come alive and is making changes at Google. <em>\u201cEarlier today, for instance, CADIE deduced from a quick scan of the visual segment of the social web a set of online design principles from which she derived this <a href=\"http:\/\/cadiesingularity.blogspot.com\/\">intriguing homepage<\/a>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Another early project for Cadie: making a <a href=\"http:\/\/chrome.blogspot.com\/2009\/04\/introducing-google-chrome-with-3d.html\">3D version of Google Chrome<\/a>, since <em>\u201c81% of households had red\/blue 3D glasses lying around.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no gentle way of putting this, but YouTube just <a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/t\/new_viewing_experience\">flails<\/a> with upside down video viewing.<\/p>\n<p>Gmail now has <a href=\"https:\/\/mail.google.com\/mail\/help\/autopilot\/index.html\">AutoPilot<\/a>. \u201cAs more and more everyday communication takes place over email, lots of people have complained about how hard it is to read and respond to every message.
